As a previous poster mentioned, some of the only reasons for challenge in HL1 were the controls. I rarely play games above normal but Half Life is an exception, 2 especially is definitely much easier than most other FPS games, Gordon just feels like a tank.
You’ll enjoy Half-Life just as is though, doesn’t really matter all too much but playing on hard difficulties always feels a little bit more rewarding.
